  • An early executive that built and sold a Non-Standard Auto MGA over a 14-year period. The company grew to a profitable $550 million in annual premiums through a retail network of over 9,000 agents. He led an acquisition of a dedicated insurance company shell and assisted in securing over $1 billion of reinsurance over a 12-year period to grow the business.
  • Recently led a transportation MGA start-up growing it to $55 million in annual premium while delivering loss ratios of 45% on the portfolio.
  • Spent 10 years at the beginning of insurance career with Allstate holding numerous financial leadership roles. The last position was a leader in the Southeast region that comprised four states and $2.2 billion of annual premiums.
EVP / Chief Underwriting Officer

Mr. LeBlond has been in the actuarial field since 1993.  During his career he has held leadership positions at insurance carriers and reinsurers as well as key actuarial positions at international management consulting firms.  His experience includes:

  • Consulting actuary and principal at Merlinos & Associates, one of the largest independent actuarial consulting firms in the US (now part of Davies Group).  Assisted a wide range of clients in developing advanced pricing models, reinsurance analyses and providing traditional loss reserve reviews and actuarial opinions.
  • Head pricing actuary globally for programs, property and specialty at AIG. Led a team of 50+ actuaries and analysts across 4 continents in developing and
    maintaining pricing models and creating profitability improvement strategies for an $8 billion portfolio of
    commercial insurance products.
  • Vice President and Underwriter in Partner Re’s New Solutions business.  Sourced and underwrote a variety of financial products working with brokers in the London and Bermuda markets.
Chief Technology Officer

Over 12 years of InsurTech system design and implementation experience. Her background in software development with a strong hands-on approach to her role as CTO. She is responsible for management, maintenance, vendor relationships, budgeting, oversight and design for all IT infrastructure.

The digital propriety agent management platform built by her was recognized by CIO magazine .  Over the years she has handled all aspects of system integration and end user design and has been involved in multiple conversion projects as the company has switched platforms. She managed on-time and on-budget conversions of agency management system from Applied Epic to Salesforce, she moved from Microsoft Dynamics to Marketing Cloud, and integrated call center agency phone systems to Five9 from Genesys Cloud.

Vice President Transportation
  • Over 25 years of experience, with the past 11 focused exclusively on successful leadership and execution within property and casualty insurance.
  • Directed the overall Commercial Auto strategy for a leading “A” (Excellent) financially rated US provider of commercial property and casualty insurance solutions.  In this role, she was responsible for the overall strategy for a $200 million portfolio.
  • Previously held senior underwriting positions at several leading insurance providers, including PMA Companies and Zurich.  In these roles, she analyzed risk exposure, led data driven decision making and provided strategic direction across multiple lines of business.
  • Began insurance career at a leading niche transportation insurance company, National Interstate Insurance Company.
Sales Director
  • 28-year underwriting and marketing veteran specializing in complex middle market commercial accounts, ranging from Commercial Agribusiness, Transportation, Food Manufacturing and Warehousing/Distribution Centers with a long track record of profitable results and problem solving with agency partners across the United States.
  • Held a variety of roles from insurance agent with Country Companies in the Pacific Northwest, underwriting management with FCCI on the East Coast, and Director/Executive leadership with The Main Street America Group in the Midwest.
  • Has historically placed an emphasis on training and mentoring others in positions of optimum success.
  • Was instrumental to enhancing existing product offerings and establishing new programs (AgriCAP, annual stock reporting and blanket inland marine endorsement enhancement) through creative underwriting and risk management principles.

Over a decade of sales, traditional & social media marketing, and customer service experience in the commercial print and insurance industries with a proven track record of increasing profitable books of business, follower count and post engagement with social media channels, and producing strategic and creative solutions advocating for customers, clients, and agency partner.

  • Three years in the insurance industry, specializing in commercial trucking and transportation with both admitted and non-admitted carriers.

  • Began career working with a mutual insurance carrier.
